Read my Novel!
Hello!
This is the latest draft of my novel, India House. New chapters are added every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday by 5 am Pacific time.
It’s more or less complete, but I’d love your opinions on my chapters so I can polish them up to be downright amazing! If you give me any feedback at all, I’ll make sure to acknowledge you in my book.
Synopsis
1906. The British Empire rules India with an iron fist — and buries its atrocities under lies.
In London, Tatyarao, a young law student, uncovers the suppressed truth about the 1857 Mutiny and dares to speak it. But for colonized subjects, truth-telling is a crime called sedition.
Meanwhile, in Paris, Hemachandra Das, an artist turned revolutionary, hunts for an exiled Russian bomb-maker. His comrades in partition-torn Bengal believe the time for words is over.
When Tatya and Hemachandra meet, their paths ignite a dangerous alliance. Drawn into a shadowy world of exiles, spies, and coded letters, they become targets of Lord Curzon-Wyllie — the Empire’s relentless enforcer.
As assassinations shake the British hold on power, Tatya and his friends must ask: can an idea survive prisons, betrayals, and the gallows — and still set a people free?
