Dear Panditji,
I trust this letter finds you well. It has been far too long since our paths crossed, and I find myself in London presently, protesting against the mandatory registratin of Indians in South africa. I remember our many conversations over long walks at Regents Park after meetings at the Theosophical Society all those years ago, and while Regents Park seems to have changed beyond recognition, among other places in London, the bustling streets, the crisp air, and the ever-charming aura of this city never fail to captivate me.
I write to you with the hope that our schedules might align for a meeting. It would bring me great joy to catch up with you, reminisce about old times, and discuss the future of India and other issues of the world.
I hear now that you have opened a boarding house for Indian students in Highgate, a luxury no doubt all of us wish we had had back in the day, especially the vegetarians among us. I would love to interact with the young minds you are nurturing.…
