Here’s chapters 4 and 5. They are both short, and they read so much better together.
I try to keep chapters the same length, but they get all over the place as context changes. And I’m honestly wondering what makes a chapter versus a section of the chapter.
Chapter 4 - Rusticated!
“Can I ask you something?” Harnam said a few days later. He seemed bothered.
“Sure,” Tatya said.
“Why were you rusticated?”
Bapat laughed. Tatya realized this must have bothered and irked Harnam quite a lot to hold it back for this long. Harnam seemed like one of those boys who dotted their I’s and crossed their T’s and whose mothers had asked them to steer clear of rulebreakers.
“Like I said the other day, he set things on fire,” Bapat guffawed.
