Hey folks,

I rather enjoyed writing this chapter, hope you like reading it. A couple of sources suggested that Savarkar was trying his hardest to make a bomb with picric acid, but had many failed attempts. In one of those attempts, Madanlal Dhingra apparently saved his life, and that brought them both closer.

This is what I had to go by. I had no clue how picric acid bombs worked, or how bombs could go wrong. I tried doing research, but I lack the spatial skills to imagine or envision a Final Destination-style chain of events that includes a life-threatening explosion and an escape.

Many of you seem the guns and bombs sorts. Do you have any ideas for how I can choreograph this scene better? I’ll totally add you to the Acknowledgements of my book.
